Brand new for Summer 2011, we introduce our Hard Shell Knee Guards combined with shin protection, representing incredible value for money. The knee joint is fully articulated giving you maximum freedom of movement. Our pads are Four sturdy velcro bindings with additional support above the knee firmly keep the pads in place. The PP hard shell exterior minimizes hard jolts and has vented mesh panels set into them to allow free air circulation, to help prevent you sweating. Under the hard shells are 2 layers of EVA foam pads for shock absorption, which are extensively vented to keep you cool. The articulated knee joint allows extensive freedom of movement and mobility. Long length coverage means you are covered closer to your ankle than other shorter brands. Technical data: PP stands for Polypropylene which is a tough material widely used in many types of plastic manufacturing, and is highly resistant to heat and fatigue. EVA stands for Ethylene Vinyl Acetate, a widely used foam rubber, commonly used for protective items, such as body armour, ski boots, and as shock absorbers in sports shoes.
